About these terms

These Terms of Use apply to the SRS Metal Exteriors website at srsme.ca and your use of its inquiry features. The sections about inquiries also apply when you contact us through our Facebook or Instagram advertising forms. By using the website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to use these features in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

These terms govern website use and inquiries. Any roofing or exterior work is governed by a separate written project agreement and applicable law. If that agreement conflicts with these terms on a project matter, the project agreement takes priority.

Website information and estimates

Website content provides general information about our metal roofing and exterior services. Photos, illustrations and 3D models show examples or concepts; they are not specifications, engineering advice or a promise of a particular result for your property.

A form submission, ad response, automated acknowledgement or initial discussion does not confirm a booking, final price, start date or acceptance of work. Estimates may require measurements, a site assessment and confirmation of materials and scope. Any advertised offer is subject to the specific conditions stated with it.

Final scope, pricing, payment arrangements, timing, changes and any workmanship or manufacturer warranty terms must be confirmed in the applicable written agreement. These website terms do not add a warranty or take away rights you have under law.

Inquiries and communications

Please provide accurate contact and project details, and submit information only for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent. Only share photos or other material you are entitled to provide. We may use that material to evaluate and respond to your request; submitting it does not give us permission to publish it as a testimonial or marketing photo.

By requesting information or an estimate, you ask SRS to respond using the contact details you supply. Ongoing promotional communications require the consent or other permission required by applicable law. You do not have to agree to ongoing marketing to request an estimate, and you can ask us to stop optional marketing at any time.

Personal information is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy. Facebook and Instagram also apply their own terms and privacy policies to use of their platforms.

Using the website responsibly

You may use the website for lawful purposes, including learning about our services and discussing a potential project. You must not submit false or unlawful content, impersonate someone, send spam or malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website or other visitors.

We may restrict access to features or decline submissions that misuse the website, subject to applicable law.

Website content and third-party links

Website text, branding, photographs, designs and other materials belong to SRS or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the website for personal use or to discuss an SRS project. Reproducing or reusing materials for other purposes requires the rights holder's permission, except where the law allows otherwise.

Third-party links are provided for convenience. SRS does not control those websites, and a link does not guarantee or endorse all of their content or services.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep website information accurate and useful, but errors, omissions or interruptions can occur. We may correct or update content. Please confirm any detail that matters to your project directly with us before relying on it.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. SRS is not responsible for losses caused solely by website outages, third-party websites or your misuse of the website. This does not limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or obligations under your project agreement.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Nothing in these terms removes a statutory right, remedy or warranty that cannot be waived.

We may revise these terms by posting a new version with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively and do not change an existing project agreement without the agreement required by that contract and applicable law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
